Dr. Deborah Wilson Clark - Audiologist, Founder

Dr. Deborah Clark is co-owner of Pacific Hearing Service. She came to Pacific Hearing Service in 1998, with extensive experience in medical and rehabilitative audiology through her work at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN , Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, WA and The University of Washington Speech and Hearing Clinic. In January, 2008 she became co-owner of Pacific Hearing Service and now manages the Los Altos office. In 2016 she and business partner, Dr. Jane Baxter, founded the non-profit, Pacific Hearing Connection.

 

Dr. Clark is a Board-Certified Doctor of Audiology.  She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Master’s degree in Audiology and completed her clinical doctorate degree (Au.D.) in Audiology at Salus University  

She was on the board of the Hearing Loss Association of America, California State Association from 2010 – 2013 and served as Vice President. She served as president of the board for Entheos Audiology Cooperative from 2017-2020.

 

Dr. Clark received the Leo Doerfler Award from the Academy of Doctors of Audiology in 2019.  This award is given to audiologists who have demonstrated outstanding clinical services in the community throughout his/her career.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Clark has been involved with hearing related research and the training of audiology students, medical students and otolaryngology residents. She firmly believes that everyone should have access to hearing healthcare, which led her to help found and volunteer for Pacific Hearing Connection. In addition, she has travelled to Zambia, Mozambique and Jordan with Entheos Audiology Cooperative to provide hearing healthcare to people in need.
